A sneaky peek at whats coming up....

The club today released a sneak preview of their home strip for the coming season. 

Contrary to recent speculation the team will be plying their trade in the Unibond League Division One North as “Leigh Genesis FC” and will be retaining their home colours of white and black with blue and white for their away strip.  Replica kits will obviously be going on sale through the club’s online shop some time after the official kit launch within the next few weeks.

Additionally, it’s been announced that a shirt sponsor has been brought in for the 2009/10 season.  The sponsors are said to be delighted with the partnership, and more details about the shirt sponsors will be released in due course.

One man looking forward to wearing the new shirt this season is defender Kris King who we are delighted to announce has now confirmed his return to the club this season.  He will particularly be looking forward to coming up against his former side Halifax Town, though he admits that the biggest pull was to be playing under the new management at the grand LSV stadium.
