First Team Regulars Depart

Genesis stars move onto new clubs.

A number of players have recently left Leigh Genesis for new homes as they look to progress their careers. Departing players have joined a number of different clubs in the non-league pyramid including sides from the Blue Square North, the Unibond League First Division and also in the Unibond Premier League.

Two players that featured last week for the Genesis have moved into the Blue Square North. Goalkeeper Steve Dickinson has sign for Burscough while full timer Josh Wilson has also joined him at Victoria Park.

Staying in that division and Vauxhall Motors have re-signed Tom Field while centre-half Rob Marsh-Evans has also signed for the Merseysiders. Rob had a spell on lone from Chester City with them last season.

Former captain Jerome Fitzgerald has signed for Premier Division rivals Guiseley. 

Meanwhile dropping down a league is Matthew Berkeley. Matt joined Mossley and made his debut in their midweek loss at FC Halifax Town.

Alex Mortimer has been de-registerd he looks set to sign for another club over the weekend.
