Will be posted on the websites when the venue is confirmed. Once went on the lash with a Darlo fan in Magaluf years ago, was a good lad.

Hmm, just been looking at the LSV website - this game isn't listed there, so where will it be played?

EDIT: Ah, perfect timing - thanks Paul

Firstly the Curzon game on 24 March will not be played at Leighs home ground Leigh Sports Village, and will probably be at Chorley FC, check the website nearer the time for confirmation. If it is at Chorley there is a cash turnstile, you dont need to buy in advance. The match food is dependent on the Chorley club but it is usually OK and is much better and MUCH cheaper than at Leigh. Also Chorley has a nicer and cheaper Social Club than Leigh. So all in all the matchday experience is actually better at Chorley than Leigh in a lot of supporters eyes!!

For details of merchandise and prices etc, contact Mary Croasdale at mary.croasdale@leighgenesis.com.

hi, i've been trying on facebook to make awareness of our need for support at our home games and started an event asking all my friend/neighbours/footy mates and work mates etc. to come to this Saturday's match v Woodley. Am asking that they bring down their friends and any children they have in an attempt to get a good crowd and support for the lads who have been magnificent lately with some fantastic football and cracking results.

Basically i am asking for all us supporters out there to come to the game on Saturday and mither everyone you know to come to the game!!

Hope you have noticed the posters i've printed off (thanks yellowboots!) and put around Leigh to try and make people aware of our club andte fact we are playing this Saturday. I've put them in the Library, Andy Burnhams office window, the market noticeboard, the hight st notice board and inside the indoor shopping centre (pls check they're still up and no one has defaced them for me - i spent all afternoon at the library printing them off then walking all around Leigh looking like a lost soul!!)

Looking to try and do a half time draw for a bottle of wine/spirit too just to get a few extra quid for the club and hope you support this by buying a ticket off me (i'll prob have my Salford City Reds hat on in case you don't know who i am!!)

Hello

I'm going to be round your neck of the woods in a couple of weeks time and, having attained something of a soft spot for Leigh via my charge to League Two (and still climbing....) with them in Football Manager.... I've decided to attend the Curzon Ashton game to see you guys for real!

Anything I should know before I come down? Do you have cash turnstiles? Do I need to buy in advance? What's your match food like? Where's the club shop and how much for a shirt?

Looking forward to it - I'll see some of you there!

(oh, and yes, I did say Darlo fan - go on, take the mick if you want!)

Mike

The first thing the Genesis fans need to do is get someone high profile to push support for the club.
The actor in the government adverts i e loft insulation was a regular at the RMI games. Encourage
him to promote the club.
How bigger a profile than the Secretary of State for Health? **** him off and make yourselves noticed.
Who does he support other than Andy Burnham? Everton? Well maybe, but far behind New Labour and what it can do
for Andy Burnham. Believe me or believe me not, what has the Genesis to lose?

Maybe people like me who were at the game with the wife and our Jack remember the support that RMI and Chris Healey had
at the Fulham game and now read how pititful the Genesis are at not standing up to the LSV and Centurions probably and I don't
know, not reading the small print that says the Centurions are your lord and masters and if Blackburn Rovers want to pour
money into Centurions coffers (because history says Leigh Rugby cannot control it's finances and that's why they were destined
to the third division and I dare anyone to tell me I'm wrong)
then so be it. The answer? I don't know. But the people of Leigh are the problem. I look forward to abuse or agreement.

Weve had a lot of matches recently, in all sorts of conditions. The Rossendale and Wakefield matches were tough ones in summer like conditions! I think normally we would have won. We had players missing and as you say possibly not fully fit. Any way they put their hearts into it. Be interesting to see how we play on our home ground against a Chorley Team that seems to be playing well! Chorley here we come.

Thought we battled well tonight againt what I think will be a very strong team in the near future.
They had some awesome pace in their side which we sometimes struggled to cope with but generally we held our own.
Our performance showed we have not given up, well done lads.
However when Jansen goes off we look very ordinary with no penetration up front, stepien doesn't seem on top of his game recently
wether he is carrying a knock I dont know.
Would like to know what players are still left at the club

Well battled lads and keep it up

from Chorley site

Tonight's match at Victory Park is ON!

The temperature remained above zero overnight and there's been a small amount of drizzle, thus no pitch inspection scheduled for today.

p.s why not persuade your friends to come back and support us!!!!!

If anybody is doing a raffle to raise money for the club. I have an unused Leigh RMI scarf and bob cap which an ex supporter Patrick Greenes wife would like to donate to help club funds in his memory. Anyone who can use them let me know. Brand new condition never used.
Good week last week if we had nt had a very hard game in bad conditions I reckon we would have run them ragged.

Incredible comeback, well done lads. If that game carried on for even a couple of minutes longer then we'd have definitely won it.
