If only we could turn back time.
we should have stayed at Hilton Park and spent the money on improvements.why did we decide to box above our weight?.
cant help feeling that all the history and the ground has been swiped from under our noses.
we had a ground,we had a team,we have had a fan base and could have easily built it back up,we could have got ourselves in a position were the LSV wanted us to play there.not us wanting them,,,I know the answer will be debt etc,but surely it would have been easier to find a backer and sponsorship if we actually had a team and a ground.We have been Robbed in no uncertain terms.
now we have a new football team,no fans,and nothing to sell on,not even any history.
What happened?.......only a handfull of us wanted to remain as Leigh RMI,but now it proves we were right.
A New Beginning indeed.it should actually read the beginning of the end.
Not meant to be negative,and I, like everyone want the current club to survive and will do everything I can in helping it ,but its all been very FRUSTRATING.

Theres no point mulling over what we should have done whats that going to achieve? Your talking like were dead and buried
The only way we could have stayed at Hilton Park was if LSV was never built because a percentage of the funding for LSV comes from the sale of the land that Hilton Park sits on
Forget all the beginning of the end talk and try to keep positive. Our aim now this season is to stay in this league. We need to concentrate on bringing in funds to go towards the wages of some better/experienced players for the squad (no disrespect to some of the players who are playing now, their hard work is hugely appreciated)
We can sit around and moan (which is what a lot of people seem to like doing on here) about how frustrating it is or try our best to help the club with volunteering where we can, get down to the matches and behind the lads who put the shirt for this club
Lee Merricks made a good point at the LGSA meeting last night that the training facilities we are using at LSV are second to none at non-league level so we can't say we have been completely robbed and Mary is hopeful that LSV are listening to the club and will cut some of the costs
At the end of the day the stadium as much as it is too big for us is there for the sports teams of Leigh to use and it isnt going to go down well if the teams it was intended for struggle becuase of it
