Yeah, second half was poor. Need to start putting a few wins together now to mount a serious challenge in this league, it looks a tough one.

we got exactly what we deserved - nothing. We seemed content to attempt to hold on to a 1-0 lead, and anyone who has watched us over the last 4 years will know full well we are incapable of doing so. The worrying thing would be if we lost because they were the better side - if that's the case, we may well be looking at another relegation battle. We have to stop lumping long balls forward. Every time we got the ball back, we would lump a ball forward, and their no.5 or the goalkeeper would get the ball and start another attack. very disappointing.

That secong half was the biggest bag o' ****e i've seen in a long time. Wether it was tactics, half time talk, resting on a one goal lead ........ whatever ..... it just ain't good enough. Sorry lads but you threw 3 points away today. You proved in the first half what yer capable of so what the f**k was said at half time??? Come on lads, we're right with ya', we can breeze this league if you (the squad & management) have as much enthusiasm as we have. PC.

I agree with your comments, Mark. Let's sit back and try to repulse each attack knowing fully well it is only a matter of time.

I thought Ilkeston won the game rather than Leigh losing it. The second half tactics of closing leigh down worked a treat, they harried and chased every ball which meant Leigh started hoofing the balls forward missing out the midfield who held the cards in the first half. The substitutions didn't help but I think the loss was down to the opposition being more tactically aware than Leigh.
